Whether it is words forming a flower to express the feminine aspect of a prayer, the delicate art of paper-cutting laid over vivid pastel paintings and watercolors washes, or colorful and vibrant watercolor paintings and collages, my art portrays the feelings that Judaism evokes in me. The imagery of Jerusalem within Goldie Silberberg's work portrays the feelings that Judaism evoked in her. The imagery of Jerusalem within Silberberg's art, reflects the years she lived there. Flowers, nature and music are a basis for the Judaica symbolism in her art. Goldie Silberberg studied graphic design at Emunah Women's College of Graphic Design in Jerusalem. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the Maryland Institute College of Art, and has been working professionally as a Judaica artist since 1990.
