Print of an original parchment Ketubah. Gold added by hand. Limited edition of 199, signed and numbered. The two royal peacocks, almost kissing, are only the first of the many symbols of marriage and of love that can be found in this ketubah. At the bottom, a couple of deer are looking into each other's eyes.

The two trees of life are full of birds, motion, song, nesting...18 birds corresponding to the numerical value of "Chai". Behind the heads ofthe peacocks is the symbol of the Star of David, intertwined with two hearts,in one continuous, closed line.

At the top I drew two imaginary griffins, representingthe higher connection of mind, thought and fantasy. A border of Celtic knotsruns around the ketubah, expressing the tying together of the lives of the two people in marriage, in many ways and on different levels.
